It's a story of Jesus choosing the person nobody wanted Him to choose. It's a story of the grace of God coming for people we hate. It's a story that reveals an unexpected king who comes to save the oppressed and the oppressor. It's a story of a man who everyone despised, sitting in a tree, and in front of everybody, Jesus calls him by name and says, "Zaccheus, come down. I'm going to your house today."
It's a story that reminds us to be careful who you cancel.
