Anxious For Nothing

Mar 1, 2026    Albert Tate

Are you living from a to-do list or a to-be list?

In Luke 10, Martha was busy serving Jesus—but missed being with Him. Her anxiety wasn’t about laziness; it was about identity. Like Martha, we often measure our worth by what we accomplish, seeing life through a lens of scarcity: not enough time, not enough money, not enough of us.

But Jesus offers something better. We don’t work for acceptance—we work from acceptance. God’s love is already maxed out. There’s nothing you can do to earn more of it or lose it.

Anxiety drains today’s strength, but God’s presence restores it. The invitation is simple: choose the better thing. Sit at His feet. Let your doing flow from your being.

You can go DO while you BE—for His glory.
