Our story began with a vision and a calling. In January 2012, Albert Tate and his wife LaRosa launched Fellowship Church in Los Angeles County, driven by a profound desire to create a church that would reflect the heart of God and embrace the diversity of His people.

Albert’s journey to founding Fellowship Church began in the small, tight-knit community of Sweet Home Church in Mississippi, where he ministered to just a few families. His path then led him to the historic Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, California, where he deepened his ministry experience and refined his vision for church planting.

Feeling a clear call from God, Albert and LaRosa stepped out in faith to establish Fellowship Church. From its inception, the church has been committed to a gospel-centered, multiethnic, and intergenerational approach. In its relatively short history, Fellowship Church has made a significant impact in the region, celebrating the transformational power of Christ and establishing a strong presence in the community.

Albert Tate, known for his dynamic preaching and passion for the Gospel, continues to inspire and lead both locally and globally. He is the Founder and CEO of The Greatest Story, Inc., and the author of "How We Love Matters: A Call to Practice Relentless Racial Reconciliation" and "Disobedient God: Trusting a God Who Goes Off Script." As a devoted father to Zoe, Bethany, Isaac, and Micah, Albert’s leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to family and faith.
