Hope

If we’re honest, Christmas can be a time of deep weariness. The absence of a loved one, financial anxiety, or situations around us may have us wondering, “Where is God?” We may find ourselves not only searching for answers but also trying to keep up with the pace of the world, leaving us tired or burnt out.

It’s amid this weariness where Advent invites us to remember, to wait, to anticipate. We remember Hope was born thousands of years ago. We remember Hope is here. We remember Hope is coming.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given.” It is from Him we draw the hope to believe and to sing that a weary world truly rejoices.
