Are you rowing through life in your own strength—or sailing with the power of the Holy Spirit? Drawing from Ephesians 5:15–21, this message challenges believers to stop exhausting themselves through human effort and instead live empowered by the Spirit of God. Using the vivid metaphor of rowing versus sailing, we’re reminded that the Christian life was never meant to be powered by willpower alone. God has already provided everything we need for victory, transformation, and obedience—the issue isn’t resources, but access. Being “filled with the Spirit” is not a one-time spiritual experience, but a daily, moment-by-moment surrender of control. As we give the Holy Spirit the keys to every area of our lives, we learn to live beyond our natural capacity and step into the inheritance, power, and freedom already ours in Christ.
