I Will Not Lose My Mind

Mar 8, 2026    Albert Tate

This sermon teaches that the fight against anxiety begins in the mind, where spiritual warfare takes place. Drawing from Second Epistle to the Corinthians 10:3–6 and Epistle to the Philippians 4:4–7, it explains that the enemy often attacks through deceptive thoughts disguised as truth. When these lies—such as feelings of inadequacy, fear, or hopelessness—are entertained, they can grow into anxiety and bondage. Believers are called to take every thought captive, reject lies, and replace them with God’s truth through Scripture, prayer, and thanksgiving. By consistently practicing this obedience and speaking truth over themselves, Christians experience God’s peace that guards their hearts and minds. Victory comes through vigilance, renewing the mind daily, and refusing to give power to deceptive thoughts.
