The Locker Room

“The Locker Room not only motivates me to follow Christ as a man, it shows me how!”

Once a month, the men of Fellowship Monrovia rally to talk about the real issues of what it means to be a man—as a student, a friend, a husband, a father and a co-worker. From high school students to guys who can order off the 55+ menu at Denny’s, we meet to be inspired and resourced to LIVE RIGHT and to LOVE STRONG. Most of our gatherings include a hard-hitting message followed by a time of interacting in smaller groups.

This isn’t a meeting, it’s a movement! So come join us if you are ready to get coached up and to take your life to the next level.

Our pattern is to meet the first Saturday of the month at the Fellowship Center. Pre-game starts at 7:45 a.m. with coffee and donuts. At 8:15 we lock into our time of focus and discussion, wrapping up by 9:30. This movement is led by Pastors Albert Tate, Michael Field and Chuck Olson.

Chuck Olson

Chuck Olson

Chuck has been executive pastor of two large churches in Southern California for the past 30 years. He brings a deep passion for developing leaders in the local church and in the marketplace who value the importance of leading, not with positions or titles, but with WHO they are. He is constantly pursuing ways to challenge leaders to look at the interior issues of life and leadership. Chuck did his undergrad work at BIOLA, earned a ThM at Dallas Seminary, and received his Doctor of Ministry at Talbot School of Theology. He is also the Founder and President of Lead With Your Life, Inc.

He enjoys taking long walks with his college sweetheart, Pattie, in their neighborhood or at the beach, reading, a round of golf on occasion, working out, experiencing new foods and restaurants, cheering for the USC Trojans, doing home improvement projects with his two grown sons, and spending as much time as possible with his six grandkids in the Olson’s back yard "forest" or taking them on some crazy adventure.
