May at Fellowship

April 30th, 2018

Hey Fellowship Family!

I’m Michael Lee and I’m the Lead Discipleship Pastor here at Fellowship.

Can you believe it is May already?

Usually when we think about May we think about Mother’s Day and rightfully so, but did you know there are other national observances in the month of May? For example May is Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Similar to Black History Month, it’s an opportunity to focus in and honor the cultures and traditions of Asian and Pacific Islanders in the U.S.

It’s also National Foster Care Month and that’s an issue really near and dear to the heart of our church. In May is also National Hoagie Day, National BBQ Day, and National Pizza Party Day!

In addition to all of these special days, there are some exciting things happening this month at Fellowship.

It was such a hit last summer that we are bringing it back, it’s Family Nights. Come out on May 17th as we kick off the summer with food, games, and fun for the whole family.

Additionally, if you haven’t already attended, join us on May 19th for our Racial Reconciliation Workshop 1.0. It’s an important forum where we gather to engage in meaningful conversations about the history of race in our country and how that impacts where we are today.

Finally, Summer Camps are coming! At Fellowship, we believe camp equals impact. We have 7 camps for kids ages 3 to 18! Additionally, we believe it is so important that we don’t want finances to prevent anyone from attending camp. Scholarships are available so sign up today!

For more information on all of the exciting things happening this month in the life of our church check out our upcoming events page.

Thank you, God bless you, and have a wonderful month of May!
