CHOSEN

Do you feel a calling to help God’s children in need but you just don’t know where to start? If so,  you have just found the right community.

Welcome to CHOSEN!  We are a community seeking to serve foster and adoptive children along with their families. We are dedicated to bridging lasting relationships between our foster/adoptive families and those who feel a calling to be of service to these children through their time, talents or treasures.

In addition CHOSEN offers support and resources to address a very large unmet need in our community which is to provide safe, loving families for children in foster care or needing adoption.  CHOSEN encourages families who are currently or are hoping to be directly involved in caring for foster children or children who have been adopted by having gatherings to discuss issues related to foster care and adoption.

If you would like more information on how to get involved with CHOSEN or to learn more about our gatherings, please contact fmlocal@madeforfellowship.com

The Fellowship family was honored to share the story of the Shamp Family for a special Mother’s Day gathering on May 10, 2015. A special thank you to Eric & Mindy Shamp and for allowing us to be part of your story.

CHOSEN has teamed up with Child S.H.A.R.E in their mission to offer Support, Hope, Advocacy, Resources and Encouragement. There are many valuable opportunities to be involved through meaningful acts of service.  Here are just a few ways you or your LifeGroup can connect.

Baskets Of Love

Give a basket to a foster family upon receiving a child in their home.  Donate items such  as board games, ice cream gift certificates or a night a bowling for the whole family as they welcome a child in need.  Families with younger children are often need of gently used toys, baby carriers and clothing.

Chosen “Night Off”

Join us in giving families a well deserved night off.  Parents are invited to drop off their children ages 0-16 to enjoy a little time to themselves and refill their cup.  You will be given the opportunity to work directly with CHOSEN children alongside the Fellowship Kids Team.  We will offer a scrumptious dinner and fun activities for the children.

Adopt-a-Family

Gather around families and their CHOSEN children to offer with help with some of their everyday needs which may including meals, homework help, mentoring and monitored family visitations
