When Todd Fagan was asked years ago to lead a youth missions trip to Camp Barnabas, a camp which exists for 7-to 17-year-olds who have life-threatening illnesses and disabilities, he wasn’t sure he wanted to go. “But, I was just dumbfounded by what I saw,” he says. “Teenagers were doing things that were so out of their ordinary experience, I don’t even think they knew they had it in them. They wiped kids’ mouths, fed them and helped them. It was amazing to me.”
With this background, Todd brings to Fellowship Camp Nights a true camp experience for kids with special needs. At each monthly gathering, campers (along with their camp-counselor buddies) hang out and participate in games, crafts and activities while enjoying dinner, dessert, devotions and lots of music! We hope to give these special kids an amazing night and to give their parents an opportunity to enjoy a night out as well.
Jenna Seright, under the oversight of Todd Fagan, will also be bringing Fellowship touches to Monrovia High School students with special needs throughout the upcoming school year.

“It’s really cool to watch what happens when a teenager is matched up with a kid with special needs because spending time loving and serving that child has a tendency of melting away some of that self-focus and it changes them internally.”
