A Note From Pastor Albert Tate

Hey Fellowship Fam!

Welcome to November! I can already smell the pumpkin spices, the sweet potato pies, and the turkeys getting ready.

Today we just want to put a couple of things on your radar as we move into this special time of year.

Every year we partner with Monrovia Providers Group to host a special luncheon for our local senior citizens. We call it Come Into the Joy.

It’s an opportunity to not only give gifts, but also to show up and serve our local community. We’ve got two ways you can get involved.

Purchase a $25 Gift Card

We will give out hundreds of gift cards at this event to our local senior citizens. Purchase a gift card and drop off at any Connect Center by November 19 or purchase online from our Amazon List by November 19 and it will be delivered directly to our office.

Volunteer

Help us decorate, greet, and serve our seniors at the December 2 event.

For more information, please email our Pastor of Local Outreach, Joy Flores, at joy.flores@madeforfellowship.com or visit our Come Into the Joy table in the lobby on Sundays.

Here’s one more thing we want to put on your radar: Christmas Eve is coming!

Save the date. Sunday, December 24. Monrovia High School. We have five different service times for you and your family to choose from and children’s programming available for children five years old and younger at all services.

We’ll have more details in the coming weeks, but for now, just save the date and start planning to celebrate the birth of our lord and savior!

That’s just a few of the many things we have coming up. Click here to see all that is happening in the life of our church!

Hey Fellowship Fam!

July is here! Now is a great time to fire up the barbecue and grill the hot dogs, corn, you name it. I hope you are getting in some quality time with your family, friends, and the people you do life with. Here at Fellowship we’re getting fired up for the start of an all new series this Sunday.

It’s called Fellowship Gives. We’ll talk about what it means as a church to really live out our mission and asking how do we live out this movement that God is calling us to be a part of? Not on just a local level, not on just a national level, but what does it look like to live it out on a global level? We’ll be taking a look and sharing stories of how we are showing up around the globe.

That’s just one of the many things we have in store for the rest of this summer. Click here to see all that is happening this month in the life of our church!

Hey Fellowship Fam!

June is here! Baseball is in full swing, the barbecues are ablaze, but around here June can only mean one thing – it is camp season!

Last month you helped us raise over $60,000 to help send our kids to camp! Thank you so much for your prayerful and generous giving.

That being said, we’ve got five amazing camps this summer for kids 4 to 18 years old and still have some space available. So go to madeforfellowship.com/camp to learn more and sign up today!

Have you ever had God prick your heart? Have you ever seen something that needs more attention?

A few years ago, Todd Fagan, saw a need. He looked around and saw the reality of special needs families. He saw how hard it was to send kids with special needs to camp and he saw how the parents of special needs kids didn’t usually get a lot of breaks. So he applied for a Local Grant and started Camp Nights.

At each monthly gathering, the kids get to hang out with volunteer leaders, play games, do crafts, eat a delicious meal, and participate in worship. It’s also an opportunity for the parents to go out on a date.

So if God is pricking your heart, if you have a vision, if you see something that needs more attention, we are here to tell you that you can do it and we can help!

Apply for a Local Grant at madeforfellowship.com/local. The deadline to apply is June 30.

Well, that’s it for now. I hope you are having a great summer so far. Click here to see all that is happening this month in the life of our church!

A Note From Pastor Albert Tate

Hey Fellowship Fam!

May is here! Can you believe it? What happened to April? Easter has come, change has come, now what? Well, we’ve got a lot in store.

Do you know that God has a calling on your life?

If you feel unqualified, not ready, or simply don’t want to do what God is calling you to, you’re not alone. You probably feel a lot like Abraham, Moses, and David felt.

In this 8-week series, we’ll look at some of the great characters from the Bible, the unique calling on their lives, and we’ll investigate how we can live out the calling on our own lives.

This season, there is no workbook or video to purchase and follow along with. Instead, at the beginning of each week, we will provide you with a devotional to do on your own time and discussion questions for your time in LifeGroups. You’ll be able to access this content on our app, on the Called series website, and we’ll have hardcopies at the LifeGroup tent here on Sundays.

To learn more go to www.calledseries.com.

Also on May 7th is Camp Sunday. This is an opportunity for our students to “get in” to the amazing camps we have planned for this summer.

If you’ve been to a Christian camp or have sent your kids before, you probably know how vital camp can be for a young person’s spiritual journey. You also know how expensive it can be. That’s why we’ll also have an opportunity this Sunday to raise money to provide camp scholarships for our students.

We are expecting 450 students to go to camp this summer and typically about 60% of them will need some scholarship money to go, thus, this Sunday we are seeking to raise $60,000 so that any kid that wants to go to camp can.

However, we know that this won’t be possible without your faithful, generous, and sacrificial giving. If you can, pray this week about how you can be a part of Camp Sunday.

And finally, May 7th is the launch of our Huntington Drive Campus! If you’re looking for a smaller, more intimate space to worship, then this is the place for you!

As you can see May 7th is a big day! However, that’s not all, click here to see all that is happening this month in the life of our church! And “may” God bless you this month! Did you catch that?

In Him,

Pastor Albert Tate

A Note From Pastor Albert Tate

Hey Fellowship Fam!

April is here and that can only mean one thing, it’s almost Easter!

This year, our Easter season is all about change.

On Friday, April 14, join us for our Good Friday services. Into a broken, desperate world Jesus came and changed it all. Before we can celebrate the change, we must mourn who and what He died for.

Children’s programming will be available at both services.

Then, on Sunday, April 16 we will celebrate the change that has come. Jesus came and changed it all to save us all. One change changed everything. It’s going to be an amazing celebration.

We’ve got THREE service times – 8:15, 10, and 11:45 AM and TWO LOCATIONS to choose from.

Monrovia High School Campus – Event Center
845 W. Colorado Blvd., Monrovia, CA 91016

If you feed off of the energy of being in an event space with lots of people, join us here on the MHS campus. We’ll have our 60-person gospel choir leading us along in worship. It’s going to be an amazing service of celebration.

Huntington Drive Campus
401 E. Huntington Drive, Monrovia, CA 91016

If you prefer to celebrate in a smaller, more intimate venue, join us here on Huntington Drive. We’ll have live worship, hosts, and we’ll livestream the message from the Event Center.

Children’s programming will be available at all services and locations.

However, we can’t do this without your help! We’re anticipating over 6,000 people. So, if you call Fellowship your home, we would love it if you could attend one service and serve at another. Help others to experience the unique invitation of the Gospel this Easter. Be a part of the change.

Last Sunday we had over 450 kids just during the 10 AM service alone! We are expecting 1,000 kids on Easter Sunday. That’s why we need so many of you to lend a hand.

Go to madeforfellowship.com/easter and sign up right now to serve on Easter!

It’s going to be an amazing day and we would love for you to be a part of it!

Another event we want you to be a part of is our next Get in Sunday on April 30. At this event you’ll have the opportunity to answer the two questions we ask every single week, “Who are you doing life with?” and “Where are you serving?”

If you’re not in a LifeGroup, this is your opportunity to check out our open groups, talk to leaders, and sign up before the new season begins on May 7.

Additionally, if you’re not already serving on Sundays, this is your opportunity to find a place where you can get involved. We’ve got a handful of different options from kids to production to parking and much more.

These are just a few of the exciting things happening this month at Fellowship. Click here to see all that is happening in April in the life of our church!

In Him,

Pastor Albert Tate
